So happy to see my students' understanding and observation on Kendo while training under Yeo Sensei and having some training with Cebu Kendo Club. I think she learned more than i did.
Here it goes:
One of the major benefits of Kendo is that it helps you strengthen your body and mind. It helps you focus your energy through the bamboo stick, the sword. It also helps us to concentrate on the moment we live if we incorporate kendo to our daily lives. It teaches you discipline. It teaches you that respect is key with the people you're doing Kendo with or generally in life. It literally helps you out in terms of doing much with the way you feel about yourself. It helps you to be confident even when you find doing the "MEN" hilarious at first time. That you can do much more with yourself through kendo, physically, mentally and emotionally because it is also one way of releasing stress and it helps you even more to become patient not just in Kendo but in dealing with what life throws you. I am no pro in Kendo but based on the video and what I learned on my pe class, Kendo is also a way of meeting people that could turn to family and that Kendo is a beautiful art.

We had different physical activities in P.E. an…
