AKT team members interview

1. when and how did your kendo journey start?

It started by participating some kenjutsu practice since 2012 then by late 2015 the group began practicing kendo and by 2016, I decided to join kendo practice because I find it interesting and fun.

Before, I am not into sport but somehow I got very interested in kendo because of the philosophical aspects of kendo and it gave me confidence aside from that Kendo makes me physically and mentally better.

2. what more would you like to achieve in kendo?

I hope in the future Philippine kendo can join the World Kendo Tournament. It would be a big honour for Filipinos to join such an important event.

3. Any other things you would like to share about kendo or about life in general?

For me, Kendo is like a retrospection of life, the challenges and difficulty which I encounter in life makes me stronger as a person and makes me who I am today.
