Hyoho Niten Ichiryū Kenjutsu is a 400 year old tradition founded by a famous swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. The martial art Kenjutsu (Japanese Swordsmanship) is a subject taken by Physical Education students in the university. Students are learning Japanese culture and traditions. Aside from the practice sessions which are beneficial as a form of exercise. Dedication and perseverance are needed to learn and perform the movements correctly. In the practice of budo, the students are regularly exercised to work together. Bieng polite, respectful and courteous are all part of the training, a positive attitude our students needs to learn. All the technique being practice becomes a training tool to cultivate the persons character. After all, there is an important role of learning an obsolete form of fighting to modern society.

So I know now the importance of this Kenjutsu Martial Art or Training.


It does not only focuses on the techniques but to mold the persons character with it.
